Certification Study Group

The Human Resources Professionals of Central Pennsylvania hosts an annual study group to prepare members for the SHRM-CP/SCP through SHRM. 

HRPCPA sponsors a Fall SHRM certification study group hosted by the Professional Development Committee. The classes will run 12-weeks on Tuesday nights from 5:30 - 8:30pm, beginning August and ending on November. The first and last classes will be held in person and the other 10 classes will be held on Zoom. 

The Professional Development Chair will begin accepting participant registrations after the announcement is made to members by email. Class is limited to 20 participants, all of whom must be active members of HRPCPA. Openings are on a first come, first served basis and the first 12 people will receive the course materials at no cost!* This is an $1,100 value. There is no cost for the class itself. If you are not one of the first 12 participants to respond to get free materials, you are still welcome to participate in the class and order your materials at a discounted rate.

*Participants must sign an agreement stating that if they fail to attend at least 10 of the 12 classes and take the SHRM Certification Exam (which the participants pay for), they will reimburse HRP for the cost of the materials.

SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP
