May Chapter Meeting (IN-PERSON), May 23, 2023, 7:30am
Communication and Boundaries in the Work Place Post Pandemic (IN-PERSON)
Central Penn is sponsoring a full hot breakfast for our members as we welcome you back to our in-person chapter meeting!
Join Angie Richard to explore healthy and unhealthy boundaries and communication, along with the necessary skills to confidently make changes in these areas. We recognize that many of the HR complaints and/or long-standing employee issues are surrounding communication and boundaries both personally and professionally. Ineffective/damaging communication and leadership systems continue due to lack of action on boundaries. Changing these boundaries is a hard sell because we are looking to change responses that have been embedded lifelong. Post pandemic we are seeing an influx of professional and personal boundary and communication issues that not only overload HR, but they also degrade the company culture and open up the company for significant liability. Recognizing unhealthy boundaries and communication patterns, along with maintaining and resetting of healthy boundaries in the workplace post pandemic is crucial. Being able to have the hard conversations around this as well as maintaining your own boundaries, effective communication skills and modeling for others is essential to everyone in HR. Register today!
