Companies have unique challenges that require looking at balancing the scales to avoid litigation as well as reputational and performance risks. It requires a proactive approach for compensation committee members and senior executives. This is not just a current events-spurred governance issue or moral dilemma—there are significant challenges: diversity of leadership, gender pay equality, and personnel development.

The presentation will discuss a proactive multi-step approach that carefully navigates defending pay practices and taking corrective actions for internal and external pay equality through demonstrating good stewardship to keep the scales balanced. Additionally, we will discuss the impact of corrective actions from the viewpoints of the C-Suite to the employee.
